The fire is causing torching and is creeping along the ground.
Successful burnout operations were conducted on the southern portion of the fire.
Crews will continue to secure containment lines and are taking direct action to prevent consumption of internal islands. The assessment of suppression impacts for rehabilitation will also be starting.
Extreme terrain includes steep slopes with limited or no access by way of road.
