Closed timber litter (8). The primary carrier of fire is high elvation, red fir forest, short needle cast and forest litter. There are patches of short brush (FM5), red fir and Jeffery pine(FM9).
No fire activity has been observed.
The fire is being monitored by fire crews hiking in taking map and GPS coordinates. The fire is also being monitored by webcams, helicopter, and roadside lookouts. Smoke has not been visible to any locations due to recent precipitation (snow and rain). Air quality remains in the good range.
No action has been needed along fire perimeters.
