The Dallas Canyon Fire began at 4:06pm in the Cedar Mountain Wilderness on July 27, 2012, which is 10 miles South West of Delle, Utah. The current size is 46,610 acres and it is 100% contained. The expected control date is August 5, 2012. Areas of concern are wild horse, burro habitat,raptor nesting grounds. Winter grazing lands are also affected. The fuels involved are timber, junipers, and grass understory. Crews are currently focusing on rehabilitation efforts.
