Summary: On Friday, July 6th at 0600, the Pecos Zone Type III Team turned the fire back over to the local district. The last two days rain had a significant effect of fire operations, assisting fire crews in achieving this quick containment. The majority of crews were demobilized yesterday to support other incidents. The remaining resources will continue to patrol and monitor the fire perimeter looking for lingering smokes and hotspots. The Temporary Flight Restriction (TFR) was deactivated yesterday.
