It's located in the upper reaches of Sixshooter canyon in the Pinal mountains, 7 miles southwest of Globe, Ariz.
The fire's size is estimated at 2 acres.

Sunday, firefighters on the ground were assisted by a helicopter and a DC-10, Very Large Airtanker (VLAT), which made several retardant drops on the fire.
"The airtanker was able to paint a line around the fire, quickly stopping it's spread on the steep, remote mountainside", said Globe Ranger District spokesperson Brad Johnson.
Crews will continue to mop-up today, patrol and monitor over next 48 hours.
