Shadow Lake Fire
This is the final day that updates for the Shadow Lake Fire will be posted here. It will only be updated if there is a significant change on the fire or if there are changes to the closure area. If the closure changes as expected, the closure orders and the maps will be posted here or available from the Sisters Ranger District office (541-549-7700) or the McKenzie River Ranger District office (541-822-3381).

10 Timber (litter and understory) Mixed conifer, with abundant dead and down fuels, heavy snag and lichen component.
Smoldering and creeping. Minimal fire behavior over most of the fire area today.
Significant rehab accomplished in Division A/B. In Division M much of the needed snagging along roads into the Youth Camp and campground area was accomplished today.
Rehab and patrol in all Divisions.
Closures still in place to limit public exposure to fire suppression activities. Transfer of command to Type 3 organization is planned for Sunday, 9/18 at 0600. Last planned IR request to be flown tonight.
