Incident Overview
We are just completing three days of burning up Deadman Creek Drainage in the Deadman Timber Sale area. The last three days we've had great burning conditions and completed 122 acres across some challenging terrain.
If favorable weather conditions persist through the weekend we may burn more units up Cottonwood Creek Drainage southeast of Chewelah.

| Fuels Involved | The locations being burned are underneath the trees in mostly semi-open forested areas, some of which have been timber harvested recently. The fuels we will be burning are a mix of timber litter, brush, and pockets of light logging slash (jackpots). |
