Incident Overview
This is a prescribed burn that was initiated Saturday, Sept. 12. Around 1,250 acres within a 2,100-acre treatment area burned from Sept. 12 -14. The prescribed burn units are located near Big Saddle Cabin, southwest of Dry Park, bordered on the north by Forest Road 272A and on the south by Forest Road 272C. Fuel type is understory through mainly ponderosa pine.
