Outlook

Planned Actions

The Incident Mangament Team is preparing a transistion package, to give control of the fire back to DNRC. DNRC will assume responsibility of the fire on September 17, 2009 at 0600.

Growth Potential

The potential for growth is low. No further spread unless an unexpected weather event occurs.

Terrain Difficulty

Snags are falling within the burned areas. Live and dead trees affected by the fire are also falling near the fire's perimeter. This has created a serious hazard for anyone who is on the roads and in opened areas. Be aware that falling tree's come down without warning. So again, please be cautious.

Remarks

Visitors and residents to the area need to remember that fire operations are continuing in the area so they need to drive with caution and within the speed limit on the narrow and winding road.
