The fire is 100% contained as of 6 pm Oct 5.

All Evacuations Lifted for the Thurman Fire as of 7 PM Sunday Oct 2.

State Highway 38 is currently open with no restrictions as of 7 Pm on October 2, 2005.

Residents should continue to be vigilant with fire awareness and personnel evacuation plans.

Currently, there are 2 helicopters, 1 hand crew, and 1 water tender finishing up on the fire.
