Incident Overview

Firefighters successfully completed containment of the 520 acre fire on Thursday, April 16 at 5:00 pm. All firefighting resources have been released from the incident. Some light smoke has been observed - mostly within the interior portions of the fire. Air reconnaisance flights will continue to monitor the area until the fire is called "out." The fire area is located about 30 miles northeast of Glenwood, NM and three miles southeast of Snow Lake.
